Terms of Service

Effective September 2026

1. Scope. NuvoVerra LLC provides mobile notary and certified signing agent services, VIITA commercial loss control inspections, and NAMFS field inspections. I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in this state. I am not allowed to draft legal records, give advice on legal matters, or charge a fee for those activities. Services do not constitute legal, financial, or insurance advice.

2. Identification and capacity. Each signer must present valid, unexpired, government-issued photo identification and must appear willing, aware, and able to sign.

3. Fees. Notarial act fees and travel/convenience fees are billed as separate line items. Notarial acts are billed in accordance with the New Mexico Notary Act. The travel fee is earned upon arrival at the appointment location, whether or not any document is signed.

4. Cancellation and no-show. Appointments cancelled with less than two hours' notice, signer no-shows, unavailable signers, incomplete or unprinted documents, and refusals to sign are billed at the full travel fee plus any document printing already performed.

5. Right to decline. New Mexico law requires a notary to decline a notarial act where identification is insufficient, the signer appears not to understand the transaction, duress is suspected, or the document is incomplete. Fees already earned remain due.

6. Payment. Due upon receipt for direct clients; Net 30 for title and escrow accounts. Balances unpaid after 30 days accrue 1.5% per month or the maximum permitted by New Mexico law, whichever is less. Returned payments incur a $30 fee.

7. Records and confidentiality. Client documents are handled confidentially. The notary journal is maintained as required by New Mexico law and may be disclosed only as that law permits.

8. Inspection limitations. Field inspections are non-invasive and conducted from ground level and accessible vantage points. No ladder or roof access is performed. Limitations are documented in the report.

9. Governing law. New Mexico.
